Dr. Dorfman is an extensively trained periodontist and experienced dentist in Green Village, NJ, who offers advanced treatments for gum disease (one of the most common oral health conditions), as well as options designed to promote healthy and beautiful gums long into the future.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Dorfman’s expertise allows many of our patients to receive the periodontal care they need right here at our practice instead of being referred to another office for specialty care. Additionally, Dr. Dorfman is known for her friendly and compassionate chairside manner!
Dr. Dorfman completed her dental and periodontal education at some of the most prestigious academic institutions in America. After receiving her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, where she was an Honors Graduate, Dr. Dorfman earned her DDS degree with honors from Texas A&M University-Baylor College of Dentistry. There she obtained the highest clinical achievements in Periodontology and Practice Management, as well as the highest achievement in Operative Dentistry. Dr. Dorfman went on to earn her Certificate of Periodontology and MS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she was also certified to administer conscious intravenous sedation.
Dr. Dorfman is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Texas. She has also co-authored numerous scientific articles and has conducted presentations of her research at many national and international meetings.
